Anatolian Shepherd Dog:
The Anatolian Shepherd dog is generally used for guarding folks of sheep from jackal’s cheetahs and wolves. They are bred in Anatolia or central turkey. They are also commonly found in Namibia. The coat on their body can be of any color or length. These dogs are generally very muscular and have a thick neck a broad head and a very sturdy body. They measure up 69 to 81 cms as they stand and they weigh around 36 to 68 kgs. The females of the breed are comparatively less small than the males. These dogs are independent and forceful. They are very responsible and guard their master’s folks with full efficiency. These dogs can often be quite challenging to keep as pets .These dogs, in order to attain companion ship must determinedly socialize with other dogs in the neighborhood. hese dogs are intelligent and can learn things very quickly but they can also choose not to obey. hese dogs are not recommended for a shy owner.
These dogs become very protective of their owners and other animals in the house hold. They will teat the other animals as their folk. hese dogs are known to even kill bears to protect their charges.
