Australian terrier:
The Australian terrier is a small sized dog. It belongs to the terrier family. These dogs stand to about 25 cms in height and weigh about 7 kgs in weight. The length of the dog is longer than the height of the dog. The head of the dog is slightly elongated with the ears being slightly stopped and prickled. The dogs look is generally hard bitten and rugged. The eyes have the typical terrier expression of being small bark and oval. The leather of the nose normally runs up to the muzzle which is quite strong. The coat of the dog is rough or harsh to touch and the undercoat of the dog is soft. These dogs have a distinctive ruff around their neck.. They come in colors or blue tan red and sandy. These dogs have ears that are medium sized and triangular and are very flexible. The appearance around the neck is complimented by the ruff around the neck. They form great companion dogs.
These dogs are generally working. Even as such they are very friendly and are very outgoing. These dogs are very suited as family dogs and form great pets to have in a family enviournment. They make great companions.
