Beagle

Beagle is a medium sized dog which is a breed of hound and its origin is in England in the year 1830. In looks it resembles a foxhound but with shorter legs, broader head and shorter muzzles. They have smooth coat and long soft ears. They are developed for tracking purpose. They can track games like rabbits etc. their sense of tracking scent make them useful in agricultural produce and other imports like foodstuff. They are generally healthy and make good pets. They are also used widely for animal testing purposes. A celebrated cartoon snoopy is probably the most famous beagle. They are about thirteen or sixteen inches in height at the shoulder and weigh anywhere between eight to sixteen kilos. They occur in several colors but white, black and light brown shading is the most common one and faded-tri and classic-tri are also quite famous. They have a powerful and muscular body with a smooth coat. The frontal legs are straight while the rear ones are muscular with a bent at the joint. They always have a pleading look with large eyes whose color is either hazel or brown. They have an upright tail and a broad chest.
