Cane Corso:
The cane corso is an Italian breed of dog. It is mainly used as a guard dog. It is a large mossler type of dog. It is large yet it is also lean. It is well muscled and also very athletic. It is about 60 to 68 cms tall in height and weights about 40 to 50 kgs in weight. It is over all well powered and well balanced. It shows a picture of athleticism. The ears of this dog are drooped forward and mostly their tails are docked when they are young. They come in two colors which are black and fawn. Although by genetic modification, two new colors such as blue and formentino are also created. The fawn color can also be very light and in some dogs the color of red is also found. The nose appears to be gray and is darker than the coat. White makings are found on the chest, toes and sometimes on the nose as well. The cane corso is a very confident dog and it is also very devoted to the family of the owner. It also does not pose a threat to strangers who are welcomed into the house.
