Chihuahua:

The Chihuahua is the smallest dog in the world. It is the smallest breed that is available today. It is named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico where it was originally discovered. These dogs are said to have descended from Chinese hairless dogs. These dogs are distinctively known for their small size and large and erect ears. They also have large eyes. Some Chihuahuas have long and thing coat while others have very dense and thick coat. A Chihuahua grows only up to about 15 to 25 cms in size and weighs to about 2.7 kgs in weight. The Chihuahua can come in the colors of fawn red cream chocolate blue or black. They may also contain sable tan or white spots. These dogs are well known or their devotion and ferocity. They also have a distinctive personality that sets them apart. They are very adaptable to various kinds of enviournments and even easily adaptable in the city and in flats. These dogs are known to bit when they are frightened. Because of this they are not suited to be pets for children .Also the Chihuahua’s tend to become jealous of the human relationships of their masters. The Chihuahuas also prefer company of other Chihuahuas over other dogs. This can be adjusted through socialization.
