Glen of Imal Terrier:
The Glen of Imal terrier is a breed of dog of the terrier category. This dog is a working terrier dog. It is generally used for badger baiting and for hunting down foxes. This dog is classified to be a medium sized dog. The glen terrier weighs about 16 kgs and stands to about 35.4 cms tall when it is fully grown. The coat of the dog is of medium length and is of blue, brindle or wheaten in color. This dog is normally very docile. However they should not be provoked. These dogs when provoked can be very aggressive in nature. However these dogs do not generally harm people. There are no cases of serious injuries that this breed of dogs has done to people. These dogs have a hunting background so some of they however can be quite ferocious. These dogs have high prey drive. They may look at other domestic pets like birds also for prey. These dogs are also naturally hostile to cats and rats. However these dogs are very loyal to its family. These dogs are very friendly and adjust very well with children. They make excellent family pets and are very loving.
