Weimaraner Dog:
The Weimaraner is also nicknamed as Weim, Silver Ghost, and Grey Ghost owing to the color of its coat and it is of German origin. It is a hunting dog and used as royalty for hunting large game animals like bears, boars and sometimes deer. But nowadays they are used for hunting smaller animals like rabbits, fowl and stray foxes since there have been a ban on large game hunting. It is known to be a very loyal dog very devoted to the family and a strong guardian and protects its family and territory fiercely. Weimaraner derives its name from the Duke of Weimar, Charles August, who was a very eager hunter. It is fearless and very athletic and agile. They can be trained easily and needs vigorous exercise and games which makes them the best for various dog sports and competitions. Extensive training may also serve another purpose of keeping the Weim from behavior disorders.Not only agile but their strides are very fast and extremely powerful. The Weim are very aggressive dogs and have behavioral disorders and temperament can fluctuate highly when they suffer from anxiety. They are ferocious to everyone except to their masters and needs constant affection from them. However behavior modification training may have positive effects.
