Welsh terrier:

Welsh terrier is a breed of terrier dogs kept as pets and can be used to hunt fox and birds. The origin of this dog is probably in Wales in 1800s. It has been called by many names like Black and Tan Rough Haired Terrier and Old English Terrier because they are mostly black or tan in color. Its dimensions are about thirty nine cms to the shoulder and the shape of the body is almost like a square and weighs about nine or ten kilos. The Welsh terrier is known to be very friendly, loving, shy and timid and devoted to its masters. They have a peculiar sense of hunting and hunt anything that moves from leaves to animals. It is however tough work to tame a welsh terrier. However a determined approach towards making the terrier obey the command does the trick. The Welsh terrier is well known for its energy and it does not become tired at all as they are very stable and healthy. They get along well with children and have unusual temperament. It needs to be taken out for a walk regularly so it can stay at peace inside the house. These dogs can live up to fifteen years
