Yorkshire terrier:
The Yorkshire terrier is a toy dog of English origin. The common nickname is yorkie. It is small in dimension with long hair and athletic with a sort of confident outlook. It weighs about 3 kilos. It is the second most popular dog in USA. They have hair similar to human hair which does not shed but continues to grow long and fine. They are normally black and tan and its head is small with v-shaped ears. These dogs are clever, intelligent, very daring and tend to be independent. They are not however suitable for children since they can be aggressive in their in own self-important way. In a house where there are other pets it tends to dominate them as the alpha male but sometimes they are known to be friendly and playful with them. They are very intelligent dogs when it comes to communicating with them and can obey understand and commands quickly. As such they excel in sports that involve obedience and agility. They tend to be independent in a self righteous way and do not have to be always kept on the lap of the owner. Due to this Yorkshire terrier are complicated to be trained and is rather a challenging job.
